Speer grand slams

Not sure how many fellow handloaders are on here but I was curious if anyone has had any experience with the Speer grand slam bullets on elk. I've got a box of .338 250 grs. that I'm thinking of loading up in my win mag for a hunt this fall.

Can't kill them too dead Never shot any grand slams but shot a boat load of whitetails with a 105 gran speer in my 243 years. Looks like you can push it around 2700 should get their attention.
