3d arrows

Curious if anyone out there shoots a lot of 3D courses and if so what arrows they shoot. Do you use the same arrows for hunting season or re-adjust your sights for the difference.
I am looking to go a little lighter in my arrow weight to pick up a little speed for the 3D course, just seeing if anyone has some thoughts?

I shoot quite a few every year , I use my hunting setup. I want everything to be the same year round. If i were to change I would get another bow just for 3D.
That way I am not changing things, and can use my bow for all hunting season when ever they are or where ever I go.

I shoot a lot of 3D over the spring and summer, but I have a dedicated bow. Currently shooting GT X-cutters with a 140 grain tip. I like a heavy point which helps prevent glance outs when there are already several arrows in the 12 ring.

If you are shooting 3D with your hunting rig, there is no reason to use different arrows in my opinion. While a little more speed is benifical (if you are shooting unknown distance), the 5-10 fps that you might gain from lighter arrows really isn't going to make all that much difference. However, if you just want to play/experiment with new arrows (which I totally understand) take a look at GT velocity arrows.
