Solid Broadheads

I posted a thread under the classifieds, but thought it would fit here as well
Looking to trade for 125 grain Solid Broadheads.
I have 3-100 grain 1/2 bleeders re sharpened by the factory.
Long shot of a trade but I figured I would try.

How do you like the Solids? I am just getting into Archey Elk and am thinking of going with Solids. I don't care about the price, I just want the best.

They certainly are an investment. I really like the way they fly compared to my field points. They have been the easiest fixed blade to tune for me. Im not at all tech savvy with bows, so its a major plus for me. Extremely durable blades and are pretty easy to sharpen with a soft stone. After the season I will send them in to get resharpened by the company. They always come back looking great. I did have a bleeder get loose (not broken) on me after a doe this year, but they fixed it no questions asked.
Draw backs are the price tags on them. And I have also found that the blood trails are rather thin due to its thin profile. Overall, if you put it where it needs to be, I'm confident I will get the penetration I want with this broadhead. They tend to go down quick if you do that.

Shot placement trumps broadhead choice anytime for sure.

I am trying to maximize penetration for a complete pass through by using the best broadheads, microdiameter arrows, and moderate arrow weight (450-500 grains).

I just cant see getting the best bow, best arrows, best release etc, then skimping on broadheads.

Unfortunately, I will be looking for 125's also

You should check out Magnus Stingers. COC head, flies like my fields points, pick up a dozen for the price of 3 Solids and the best warrenty out there.
