I have everything I need but a helicopter would be a big help. That or maybe a reliable hunting partner for my hunts other than elk.

I am interested in replacing my trusty wool parka with something more modern and lighter. Maybe a Sitka Incinerator or similar. Any suggestions? Has to be warmer than warm for sitting in sub zero temps.

Why ditch the wool? Fred Bear wore plaid wool and shot a heck of a lot more animals than any of us!

A Winchester '94 chambered in 30-30. This is the gun I am borrowing to rifle hunt this year, and I have fallen in love. It would be an awesome first rifle to call my own! That or a Barrett .50!

Kryptek Aegis Extreme is a nice warm coat. My wife bought me one for Christmas a few years ago and I hardly wear it as I get hot. It has to get down in the single digits before it is comfortable for me.


For me a Tarptent Statospire II or a Hilleberg Nallo II GT.

It's heavy and bulky. Back then wool was high tech. lol I bet Fred bear would have loved to have some Sitka Gear.

I just blew some Cabelas points on a a Leupold RX1200 rangefinder, so I kinda feel like I just got a Christmas present from Santa Cabelas!
