New hunting arrow for RPM 360?

Postby elkaholic » 08 21, 2015 •  [Post 1]

I'm currently shooting the Victory Vap V1 and although it shoots well the outserts just don't hold up. I'm going to use them for this year but am wanting to look into a different arrow for next year. Any recommendations? Here is an interesting article I found on arrows shot out of the RPM. I am shooting @#72lbs with a 29in draw with 100 gr up front.

I shoot the Bloodsport FPS hunters .300 spine, 100 Gn up front, out of my RPM 360 and i love the way they fly. the only issue i have is occasionally the nocks have fallen out after the arrow hits the target.

FMJ .300 with a SS insert and 125gr head. That would be a hammer.

I'm shooting Kinetic XT's, 300 spine with a custom footing made from an aluminum arrow. 125gr broadhead/fieldpoint, 4 fletched out of my 60# Full Throttle w/ a 29 1/2" DL. So far, the only insert that has pulled out was from the arrow that blew through my target and stuck in a tree. Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear makes them for me. These arrows are a year old and were shot out of my 70# Elite Answer the year prior. Hope this helps.

Good suggestions.. Im going to give some SS inserts a go, and also see what I can do by adding some weight up front to my existing Axis arrows with GT Kinetic inserts in them.

Not till after I tag out though...
