59 bones for the 12 meals. I like the BF skillets for the evening meal to mix things up.

Those are different than the one's offered at my local Costco. The one's we get are all dinners. How are the breakfasts? I don't think I'd have the patience to heat up water for the MH and then coffee.

Husky, I don't eat the BF skillets for breakfast but for evening meals as a change of pace meal. They're quite tasty IMO. I'm with you in the morn and seldom cook anything besides coffee :). I'll throw down an Erin Baker BF cookie In the morning with Java to fuel the tank before I hit the elk trail.

Good deal. Any chance they offer those in the Pro Paks? I really liked used those last year for compressing down my food in the bear bag.
I am going to have to try the BF skillets this summer on a camping trip. I have not yet met a MT house meal I couldn't eat. Just simply enjoy some more than others.
That apple crisp certainly grabs a guys attention! Now where is the dang ice cream packet to go with it

That's the only downside of buying the Costco "box o meals". I've never seen them come in the pro packs. I prefer the vacuum sealed, smaller, pro packs also. Oh well, for the price it's worth the bit of extra bulk for the non pro pack MH meals.

I might get that. Those flavors are not that bad. Never had a skillet one tho.

Worst part of backpack hunts are the meals.

Take along some tortillas and dump the breakfast skillets into them. Tasty breakfast burritos.

How long do the tortillas last once the package has been opened, and, not refridgerated? The BF burrito sounds like a good plan.

Quite a while. I have never put them in the fridge after opening them. I treat them like bread. I just put them in a ziplock bag and don't worry about them going bad. Don't vacuum seal them. They stick together and you can't pull them apart. You end up with a very thick tortilla!!

I also use them for lunches with tuna fish packets and make a wrap.

If your looking for a good breakfast or snack check put Steves pale stuff out. My buddy turned me on to them and I loved them. We'd have a granola bar for breakfast and during the day the vacuum sealed jerky packs.

Good stuff. Thanks. I also like the idea of using them for the TF packets.
