Haul Bag

Postby timberland » 03 26, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Looking for a heavy duty and preferably water resistant haul bag I can strap to a pack frame that can hold gear or meat. I'm thinking 5000-7000 cu in give or take should do but has to be durable. Or should I be looking at just a duffle bag? What do you use?

Check out military surplus stores if you can. I've hauled out quarters in an old Navy seabag with no problems.

Maybe you need a pack as this? It has a removable 5000" bag that fastens quickly to the pack, I have this pack & it carries a load pretty darned well. I picked it up from Packfitter here on the forum! Check out this clip & see if it's something that interests you!
