Welllllllll......ElkNut is an authorized vortex dealer. Great optics and they have a few at a low price which are still high quality.

I have to agree with the vortex. They have been working great for me. I have a pair of diamondback 10x42 and 10x32. They both work great and it helps if I have a problem they are 2 miles from me, all I have to do is drop them off and pick them up when they are fixed or replaced. My wife has a pair of fury's that had the eye piece break off from some sort of damage and it took them a week and I picked up a brand new replacement pair. Hard to beat their cs.

You are getting close to the price of a pair of Vortex Viper binoculars. I have a pair of the 8x42s and find them to be very high quality. I really like their light gathering ability and the image quality from edge to edge. Build quality and ease of use are tops. For the price I know of no glass quite as good. Based on my experience with those binos, I ordered the new Vortex range finder from Elknut, and am looking forward to receiving it after he gets them in stock.

Cant go wrong with Vortex. Great glass for the $. I have the Viper 4-16x52 M-Rad scope as well as the Viper 65 mm spotter. Only thing I am missing is binos. Their warranty is excellent and Paul prices are the best you will find.

You can't go wrong with Vortex!

Some other glass you may look at is Brunton, they are moving on up!
