Nikon product warranty

Postby Lefty » 09 22, 2023 •  [Post 1]

12, 13, 14 years ago I bought a Nikon pack spotting scope E-60. from Eastman's Hunting Journal at the International Sportsman Expo.
I've used the scope extensively. With hundreds and hundreds of hours of the scope mounted on my driver side pickup window

The focus adjusting knob broke.

My wife received an email from Nikon; they will cover it as warranty.

Really nice to hear a company stand behind their product. Sure beats a company that wants a receipt and then tries to weasel their way out of it.

In the past, I don't know why maybe just the way ir \t was years back. it took well over a month for work on my Redfield scopes and Leopold glasses. I'm just hoping my spotting scope is back before Montanas elk hunt

Burris is good as well. I had a Burris 8x30 bino that I sent in for repair. They wrote back and explained that it was a discontinued model and no parts were available. So they sent me a new pair of Steiner 10x42 to replace the discontinued Burris glass. That is going the extra mile. Thanks Burris!

Vortex has a no proof of purchase, lifetime guarantee as well.
