Mchale packs

Anyone using one of these packs for elk hunting? Which one do you have and what do you like and dislike? For those of you unfamiliar, these are custom made packs that are pretty expensive. Either their website isn't great, or I simply don't know enough about packs to follow it. Either way, I'm looking for any first hand knowledge to get me started.

I've read every comment about every other pack out there. I'm hoping someone has experience with Mchale custom packs specifically. Thanks.

There are several threads on McHale packs on 24hourcampfire.

I don't have one but most guys who do are impressed.

Dan posts a lot on BPL so you can likely get some info there as well.

I've started the process of buying one. I sent in a deposit. I emailed Dan my wants and needs list. Sent him the required measurements as well as a picture of myself wearing a pack. Now he will send me a demo pack to try out. I'll continue to update as I work through this process. At this point, I think I'm going to get a pack that is called the s-sarc. Roughly a 4500 ci pack.
