Cabelas scopes

Postby Elkhunttoo » 09 25, 2016 •  [Post 1]

I was able to get a cabelas brand scope the other day for $38.56. It is a $100 scope. Does anyone have any experience with them, I'm hoping it's a good scope

Well, I had a Pine Ridge scope on a gun but it didn't see much use. A Cabela's salesman once told me he wouldn't use one. If it's discontinued stock it may be ok.

I wonder how warranties will be handled now that Bass Pro is buying out Cabelas

I had a Piine Ridge on a muzzleloader. It was so bad I through it away. It was total garbage.

I had one a long time ago on a .30-30. It was fixed power (4, I think) and it worked fine. I wouldn't buy another one though. Once I started using Leupolds, I have never had the urge to buy anything else. They are a great American company that stands by their products.
