Just interested in seeing how much rope you guys' are carrying in your packs for a day hunt type set-up, as far as what lengths of rope sections' and also how many total sections'... thanks in advance!

I carry about 20' of 550 cord in a cobra braid that is attached to my first aid kit

I've used a similar system for years but I use carabiners instead of the chain links.

I hate my crap signal at home, guess my last post didnt go through, and i typed a lot. Anyway, i always carry rope outside of hunting season. Its indispensible for breaking down unreachable droopy pine limbs that interfere with trail cams. Heres a threat. One of these days im going to record a video of all my stupid trail cam tricks ive developed and post it here. Ive made about every mistake possible in that regard, and learned from it. Now i just need to learn how to kill elk...

Every year,I buy a new length of clothes line. About 100 ft for maybe $2 at Walmart. I don't feel bad about cutting it up to hand quarters and it is long enough to tie that elk leg off to the only tree around 50 ft +way. It is also bigger around in diameter so it doesn't cut into your hand like parachute chord does when you really ave tom pull hard on it
