Plot watcher cam

Anyone here used this trail cam? There's a couple small Meadows I would like to be able to see the entire Meadow and I thought using this time-lapse setting will be a great way to see what's coming in and out of the entire Meadow what do you guys think?

My cousin uses one at our Louisiana lease and it works great. We get a good idea what's coming in to the plots but don't get near the other camera's.

I have two. They are simple to use, and have great battery life. They operate sun up to sun down - so no nighttime photos. It is a wide angle lens so animals appear somewhat distant, and there is not enough pixels to zoom much.

Great for checking out larger areas to determine frequency of movement, and preferred trails. Not good at all for counting tines or scoring antlers. Kind of tedious to review - takes about 5-10 min. per day - pretty boring if you have a months worth of stuff to look at.

I try to face them North when possible to reduce direct sun in the lens.

Thanks guys,thats good insight.i think ill pick up one maby two! I think having the plot watcher in the a few medows that i know and the standard cams on a few water holes,trails and saddles.thanks guys
