Wound Seal

Postby saddlesore » 01 16, 2016 •  [Post 1]

I mentioned this in the elk forum, but wanted to pass it along . There is a product called Wound Seal.
I believe it is about the same as QuickClOt, only in small packest for small cuts. It comes in a small plastic case about 1/4" thick, 3 "x1" maybe, four packs per case and runs about $6 at Walgreens.
It's great for me as I am on a low dose aspirin regemin and bleed pretty good if I cut myself .

This Product Is Specifically Developed To Stop Bleeding For People On Blood Thinners Because It Doesn't Rely On The Normal Clotting Factors In Your Blood. It Forms An Instant Seal (Or Scab) Over The Wound In Seconds.

The Seal Is Safe To Leave In Place Until It Falls Off Naturally And The Wound Heals. Proven Safe And Effective Stops Bleeding Instantly Have The Confidence To Know You Can Control The Bleeding Wherever You Are

Very interesting. I do carry a container of quickclot (and hope I never have to use it) but I like the idea of having smaller packets.. Thanks!
