Browning Hells Canyon and XM Elite

Any one using the Browning Hells Canyon and XM Elite (waterproof) apparel for elk hunting? Pros and Cons

I know it's not Sitka, or Kuiu, but fraction of the price.

I used a Hell's Canyon jacket on my elk hunt and it was fine. I didn't wear it much, but I could strap it to my day pack easily and go. Toward the end of my trip, we caught a little snow and it did fine keeping it off of me. Definitely wouldn't take it as a true rain jacket though; so it likely wouldn't make the cut for a real backpacking hunt. Mine doesn't even have a hood. It was plenty warm enough, we caught some lows in the lower 20s and upper teens and I was fine wearing a marino base, core4 pivot shirt, and the Hell's Canyon.

It also works great as a "it's colder in my deer stand than I thought it was going to be" backup plan and lives in my daypack during whitetail season here in the east as well.
