New Lightweight Camera

Postby WapitiTalk1 » 01 28, 2015 •  [Post 1]

Picked up a new little camera today for elk hunting. Grabbed a Canon Powershot 140IS today on sale at the post PX. I think it should do the trick (now I just need to get a deceased elk or preferrably two to pose in front of it this fall). It's a 16 mega pixel cam and only weighs a bit over 4 ounces. It has the female adaptor on the bottom so I can use it with both my Clip Shot and Elk Mountain Gear elk decoy. It's a good day when you can pick up something earmarked for "the hunt" :D

8x is a good amount of optical zoom for a compact camera. Got so excited you dropped your toothpick?

A new item earmarked for elk hunting has that effect on me :D I agree on the 8X, thought that was pretty good for a little pack camera.
