New Elk Hunting Caddy

After cruising up, down, and sideways in elkonthebrain's RZR side by side in ID this year, I was sold. Traded in my quad for a new RZR 900 Trail a few weeks ago. It's all Ed's fault .

Rzr is a lot more sporty than the Ranger. If all you wanted was a hunting vehicle, I would go with the Ranger, if you are going to be doing offroading in addition to your hunting, I would go with a RZR.

I have a RZR, by the way, that I have modified for hunting. Not as roomy as a Ranger, but they ride better if you are off roading.

Can you load 4 elk quarters in the back of the Razor? I see a small bed on it but cannot see it clearly. I like the 2 seat model better than the 4 I've seen online but none show weight carrying capacity? It needs to carry an elk out minimum. Thanks.

Just looked at the book and the payload for the RZR two seaters is 740 lbs. The bed dimensions on the 900 Trail EPS (like mine) is 20.7" L X 37" W X 7.9" H and the book sais rear bed capacity is 300 lbs. Here's a pic below of the bed of my RZR model. I have the lock and ride storage/cooler box in mine that is easy to snap in and out. While hunting, I probably won't use the lock and ride box so I can set two packs in the bed while on the way to spots. There are also after market attachments that will expand the bed dimensions which is an option if desired. If it's a scenario where I'll actually be taking camp with me (vs hunting from a static/base camp config), I'll pull my Yutrax Trailer behind the RZR. I've attached pics of the dual bow case I'm gonna get so hunting buddy and I can securely transport two bows, and, the Yutrax Quad trailer. Got lots of config testing to do on the new Elk Caddy this coming year

This is my RZRs 800. 4 quarters in the back. The gun rack is homemade, but one of those cases is a great option. I also made a rack that I mount to the trailer hitch that will carry a hitch hauler.

If you're just looking for utility, check out the ranger (That's why I was asking) - it has a bigger bed and more payload capacity. Most models are bench seats and not as sporty, but some good pictures here of an older version:
