Jet Boil sol!

REI has the sol for 89.99, grabbed one and it is sweet, every part packs up as one unit with electric ignition! Mine actually initially would not light, was sparking but would not fire, I rotated the tip of the ignition slightly and it fires every time!

Mine fires well at lower elevations but typically needs lit by my lighter at higher elevations. I love the stove, I just don't count on the electronic ignition.

I have an original and if the gas is on more than just a little the spark doesn't want to work. I keep it really low to light and then turn it up.

I got one last year for $70 off some camping website. Like the setup, works very well.

Im at 7000 feet and it fires, so hopefully it does at 10000!

Yes... don't turn the gas on high to start it. Also, I bend the wire so the gap isn't as wide for the spark to jump. Fires up way easier.

Had mine for a couple of years now. Love it! Definitely take an additional spark device/lighter with you. I've had the ignition sometimes not work at higher elevation. The small canisters seem to last forever.

I've used mine several times at around 10,800 with no lighting problems at all. It also helps if you put the lid on at higher elevations to bring your water to a boil faster.

If all you're doing is boiling water they are the real deal! Love it for backpacking!
