light weight cooking pot,

I don't backpack much but I do spend a lot of time tent camping and cooking
What should I be looking for in a small pot 20-28 oz or so to boil water and make dinners in, or drinking like hot chocolate
I don't want to spend over $30.00 if possible, and Im don't need or want a whole mess kit
I don't want aluminum.
Stainless seems to fit the budget better

I bought one of these last year and it worked great and was light. The only thing is the sticker on it didn't always work or it could of just been me.

I didnt think I needed a stove,but maybe I will . I planning on canoeing into Shoshone lake this summer in Yellowstone That might be something to cut weight on

I've been using the Jetboil system. It's above your target price but includes the burner, etc. It packs up small, light weight and simple. The auto ignition has always been spotty at higher elevations so I usually use a lighter. It boils 16 oz of water in about 90 seconds and a small canister of fuel will cook for one person for over a week.
