Paradox Unaweep

Postby RockChucker30 » 03 11, 2014 •  [Post 1]

Hi guys, I wanted to let any interested parties here know that we have developed a lighter alternative to the Paradox Evolution platform.

The Unaweep is bare bones. No excess, no extras, nothing that is not essential for core function. It does not offer detachable pack bags or a load shelf feature like the Evolution does, but because of that it is cheaper and lighter. The Unaweep is optimized to use a 26" frame which is a great size for general uses.

Specs:

Red VX07 with Talon compression panel - 2 lbs 12 oz, load rating of 100+ lbs with the UL frame, or 150+ with the standard frame. Introductory price is $379.

It will also be offered in Gray VX21 and Multicam X33 fabric, for a slight increase in weight and cost.

Cheers,
Nathan

Paradox valley, Unaweep canyon. Two splendid parts of Colorado. The bull pictured to the right lived 3 miles straight up from Unaweep.

It's a cool place, with a lot of geology going for it. For the unknowing, the Unaweep Canyon is a long canyon...with a river flowing out both ends. At first look you'd think it was one river, but there is an almost imperceptible divide in it. Paradox Valley is kind of the same way.

We choose our names carefully. Our packs find new solutions to old problems, and we innovate in everything we do.

We will avoid any of the disappointment valley naming .... although we considered joining the disappointment valley optimist club at one point :)

Final pricing and details are out.

It is available in a 3900 size in Red and Gray, and a 4800 size in Gray and Camo.

http://seekoutside.com/unaweep-backpack ... -overview/

Pricing is $379 - $449 depending on fabric. The pack weighs right around 2.75 to 3.4 lbs and carries 100 lbs plus really well.
