Too Much Elk Rifle?

Is there such a thing as "too much" for an elk rifle? Well, perhaps

2 much 4 me. Every time I watch this, another tooth falls out. For mortal shooters, any rifle that makes us flinch is too much for elk, in that it disrupts accurate shot placement.

Cheese and crackers. I'll have to watch that when I have better service. From the looks of the rifle and the guy in the background, I have a good idea of what's about to happen. Looks like a fire breathing monster.

I hate excessive recoil, and I don't mind admitting it. When I had my STW built, I knew the hot loads it was designed for would be tough, so I ordered a barrel with a Sendero contour and had a very well designed brake put on. It spits out 160 grain Accubonds at 3300 fps, and it doesn't kick any more than my .25-06. Shoots like a dream. It's heavy and louder than you can imagine, but those are fair trade offs to me to have the range and shootability that I want.
