Vortex Binos

Mrs. Clause was Nice this year and I got a pair of Diamondback binos, These are just what I need for shed hunting and archery hunting, small and compact. The bottom lens covers don.t look like something I want to take in the brush with me because they look like they will slide right off and be lost before I know it. I have not found a bino harness setup that I Like so Has anyone found a way to keep those lens cover attached to the binos securely?

I love my 12x50 Diamondbacks. You could use some peel and stick velcro applied to the covers and the bino housing.

Hmmm! Never had one come off of my Vipers. But I did break one once. I gave Vortex a call and they sent me two brand new ones. No charge!

On the diamond backs they are only held on with basically a rubber band that can slide right off, maybe the vipers are different.

I don't think you will have a problem. Mine are made the same way and never slipped one off yet.

Howdy. I also have the Diamondbacks 10 X 40 binos using a S4Gear, Micro LockDown Binocular Harness. I love they way the carry and work while hunting. It is a great combination IMHO.

Thanks for the info I will see how it goes. I plan on carrying then inside my jacket or vest to keep them out of the way of the bowstring, and not sure if the front caps will stay in place or not so time will tell.
