I have been a SPOT user for the last two seasons and am heavily eyeing moving to the Delorme SE. Thank you for the review. I have been very happy with the SPOT and my wife and I have developed a code of messages with it (3 of a given same message in 30 minutes means X). But being able to have two way communication probably saved my group this past year when a severe snow storm came through (buddy had a SAT phone).

I will be in the market for something on my next mtn hunt. I finally got a smart phone, so this might be a good match.

The snow turned my hunt into more of a survival mission. I had to drive over an hour to get cell signal. Cell was almost useless in mtns.
