Replacement Drop-away rest CORDAGE?

Postby Lark Bunting » 12 30, 2013 •  [Post 1]

What is the cord/string used on a drop-away rest? I was given a Mathews Drop-away rest but was told I'd need the string for it. I have no idea what kind of string is used though...

Is it just the D-Loop string? Or, is it specific to the rest?

Thanks!

Archery Bum, welcome to the Forum!

Yes, D-Loop should work just fine for a replacement cord. Make sure it's thin enough to fit out of the housing.
