Sleeping pad

What is the best sleeping pad you have used in past or that you are currently using? I need a new one and am strongly considering a blow up pad like the big agnes styles. Please give me some feedback. Thanks

I have the BA insulated core pad. Love it. But it can get cold below 15 degrees.

Therm-a-Rest NeoAir Xlite. Really light and compact. I found it very comfortable and didnt slide off of it at all. Kept me warm in some pretty cold temps.
Overall I have no complaints and dont see myself needing another one any time soon.

Big Agnes Q Core SL. Light, over 3" thick and warm. I slept on it with my tent pitched in 12" of snow and temps in the teens at 10,000 feet during first rifle in CO this year. It and my Golite down bag kept me plenty warm.

There are several good brands and styles on the market. It would really depend on what you are going to be using it for such as a base camp, backcountry etc. With that said there are a couple things to consider when purchasing one the R value or insulation from the ground it provides, the size such as width and length, weight etc. The biggest one for me was the direction on the air tubes. I did not like the horizontal tubes at all very uncomfortable for me I switch to vertical tubes. Type of material is important as well the lighter the pad the noisier it is when you move. The one I found that suits me for everything I do is the Exped UL 9. I hope this helps in your search.

If you know any industrial insulators see if they can get you a piece of armaflex insulation. I have one that I use with good results.
