Stormy kromer hats

Does anyone have/used any stormy kromer hats? If so what are the pros and cons of this hat. I want to do some research before I pay 40 dollars for a hat

I've never worn a better hat! But as WW mentioned. It's gotta be cold!! I wear mine out feeding or breaking ice on the troughs. I'm moving to colder climate next week and can't wait to break out the Kromer!!

No doubt guys. I still take a ball cap in my pack. You can't wear that bad boy if you're pumping up a hill or if it's not cold out. But when it is.... they rock!

I live in these things! I have 6 I think. The only one I wear during weather above 40 is my waxed cotton version, but from fall through spring I pretty much do everything but sleep in my wool ones. I have a rancher model with the longer ear flaps which is great for the real cold like ice fishing.

I was in Michigan's upper peninsula last spring, where the hats are made, and decided to check out the factory store. Pretty cool to support a USA made product and they last forever, but now I have 6 just in case, HA!

See WW... I'm not the only groupie. I guess you'd make fun of me if I said I want buried in one so I won't say it. My luck I'd have the Rancher model on and end up in hell. Yikes! Spontaneous combustion for sure!!!!

Joe, do you wear a size 7 1/4 hat? Just a reminder, you would not have to worry about Swede stealing "Your hat" if you would splurge and buy an extra. I get cold at times sitting in a tree stand, and I do not like those hats that cover your face too much. What I am saying it is really your fault if Swede reappropriates a good hat in an hour of need. It looks like those Stormy K's might just be the ticket. Also, don't embroider your name or initials in "your hat". I hate picking out all of that thread.
