my turkey landowner just planted clover!!

good or bad?

he lets me hunt..almost exclusively. only people that hunt it is his son, and me!! (he calls me his other son). i bring my brother. my brother killed his first archery bird here. i called and my brother and i have the same open invitation. he told me his is planting clover. turkey love the stuff, no?

Anything green in the spring is good. More bugs the better for turkeys.

Depending on when he is going to plant it if the fields are recently plowed when you hunt it will be a great spot.

As far as clover... yes, they like that and chickory. I cleaned a crop out one time that was packed with clover.
